You can use the Sendchamp provider to send SMS messages to your customers using the Novu Platform with a single API to create multi-channel experiences.

Setting up Sendchamp

Get your API Key

  1. Sign up or Login to your Sendchamp account
  2. Click on the Avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen
  3. Select API & Integrations from the drop-down menu
Click on the Avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then click API & IntegrationsAlternatively, you can access the API key from the Accounts menu:
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and click on Accounts
  2. Click on API keys & Webhooks from the dropdown

  1. On the API Keys page, copy the Public access key

Set up your Sender ID

The Sender ID represents the sender of the message to your customers.To view your Sender IDs:
  1. On the sidebar menu, click on SMS
  2. Select Sender ID from the dropdown options
  3. You’ll find a list of your Sender IDs
Click sms and select sender IDTo create a new Sender ID:
  1. Click on the Create Sender ID button
  2. Fill in the form
  3. Click on Add Sender ID button
Click on the add sender ID button
Wait for your Sender ID to be approved before using it as the from field on the Novu platform.

Connect Sendchamp to Novu

  1. Visit the Integrations page on Novu
  2. Click the “Add a provider” button
  3. Locate Sendchamp under the SMS section and click on the Connect button
  4. Enter your Sendchamp API Key
  5. Fill in the From field with your approved Sender ID
  6. Click on the Disabled button and mark it as Active
  7. Click on the Connect button
Now it is possible to send SMS notifications using Sendchamp in Novu.
